Hello Greg,

My husband just adjusted the ignition timing and point gap, but did not do
the valves as we just go your e-mail.   It seems that these two minor
adjustments made quite an improvement.  We need to let it get cold again and
try restarting it to get a better idea.

We are waiting on the arrival of our Bentley Manual that we ordered last
night from Amazon.com.   My husband is going to try adjusting the valves.

What do your ideas on a "cold start valve" problem.  My husband thought that
maybe that could be adding to the problem.  He used to do all of the work on
his old Rabbit that was fuel injected.

Thanks so much for your reply -- we love this car and are going to do what
it takes to get it up and running properly.
