Yes, I agree, don't waste your time on a proggy. But stepping up to a set of Weber34s or even Solex 32s, now thats a different story. I realise that several here will tell you to keep the FI, but... My Webers (34s) are really nice (and forgiving), as they can sit for a couple of days or weeks and will still fire up, and my Solex's, (32s) they're even nicer (even with the chokes turned off ), as they start the car without needing any pedal work (just like FI). My 69 AT has Solexes in it, and they are very nice.
