ok, i keep getting conflicting reports on this. my '72 SQBK has got carbs on 'em. did ALL '72 SQBK's initially come w/ fuel injection or were there some that rolled off the line w/ carbs? i've gathered that FI is probably the way to go but it's difficult to convert from a carb back to FI. you know something about this? also i'm currently looking at a weber progressive carb b/c i'm having difficulty finding a nice pair of 12V type 3 OE dual Solex carbs including all the extra parts associated w/ it. if i go w/ the weber, will i need to purchase the end pieces for installing an aftermarket carb on a single port engine? lemme know when you get the chance!! dave '72 SQBK ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
