Once you get the drum off, you can almost always get the star wheels to turn if 
you grab them with a pair of channel locks. Be careful not to damage the detent 
spring that is out of sight on the underside of the star wheel. 

I use anti-seize in both places.

Any head is fine, as long as it doesn't stick up far enough to hit the 
underside of the road wheel.

There should just be one retainer washer per spring.
