Figure 10-5 in the Bentley manual is a perfect picture of where the pump
is located, and what it looks like. It even shows the pump drive shaft
and the rotation.
I hate to say it after all of the automatics that I have rebuilt, but it
is rarely the shaft that breaks. It is usually the 3 cornered drive dog
in the pump that gets broken when the shaft gets jambed.
I have the parts if you can't find them locally. Try a local
transmission repair shop. They may have one in their junk box. If you
have never had an automatic tranny apart, I would try to get some local
help from an experienced tranny mechanic.
