I hope this helps, and if you have some questions let me know. I never had any problems with them breaking. You push them in and then turn them 90 deg to lock them in place. I should have some good used ones if you need them. BTW, on at least SOME of the cars I have parted out I believe there were 2 sets of holes in the roof for these, spaced out different distances from the rear view mirror. I don't know if different models got different sunvisors, however. I've only ever seen one style for type 3s. I guess I'm talking about the style that was used 68-73.
