That's not always the case. My ICTS have vacuum ports and I get the
right vacuum signal. I checked before I installed the stock FI dizzy on
my engine. 

I even got my pertronix to fit in there too! I had to do some creative
grinding on my rotor( it was to wide to fit between the pickup).
