<x-flowed>the screw is there and the internal wires were all resoldered when i had 
the gen apart 2 weeks ago.  this is just so aggravating!  toby will home 
in a couple hours and he can describe (probably better than me) what was 
done today, and what the tests showed.  i plan on pulling the gen apart 
again, i will relook at the connections... thanks russ
