Re: [T3] Fuel in oil


The check valve stops fuel being pumped back into the float bowl by the
accelerator pump. When it is missing, you can see bubbles being blown into
the bowl, and nothing gets squirted upwards into the tube where it's
supposed to go.

The wet gasket was on the other (right-hand) carb.

Whether or not the one or both carbs are leaking, I believe the fuel pump
may be too. If I change the fuel pump at least I will have eliminated one
possible leak. If I still get fuel in the oil I will know it is the carb(s).
As it is I still can't see anything in the carbs that would make them leak
such a lot. Worst case scenario is I will have a spare fuel pump.

That said, I still want to have another look at the carbs to make sure.
