Volks, Well MANY thnaks yous...as it turned oot, the problem WAS adjusting the shifter (bad bolt) and the nylon bushing in the 'shifter guide'?...and adjusting the clutch cable...anywhere...she now seems to behave like a new ride...CHEESE...thanks again... ...BTW...are imperial quarts metric?...and what aboot imperial pints?...and what aboot imperial facilities?...how many GPF do they use?...
