Thanks Everybody, I will give it a go on the weekend. I can't pull the engine out, because the engine is still out of the '63 Beetle, and I don't have the space to have 2 engines out at the same time. What size are the threads on those bolts? M6? I will use locktite, silicon and star washers to hold them in place, that way they will never come out! ;-) I was thinking about making a puller for the fan out of a piece of thick steel and two bolts, that is what the one in the Bently looks like. Will that work, or will I need something special to pull the fan off? BTW, Happy Birthday Russ!
