Yes. They changed colour for the '66 model year from bronze to silver. The
Type 34 tach was not standard equipment, and, as far as I can see, doesn't
appear as a factory option in the parts book. Apparently it was an
aftermarket VDO tach in the same way as the Type 3 one was.

Also, (going back to an older thread) there was never a Type 34 speedo with
trip meter, not even as an option or after market replacement. No one has
ever seen one, AFAIK.
