I did not originate this setup I saw it here while searching for opinions on
DJet max sizes.

I saw and used it.After looking at it,I saw that it is a much neater and
efficient solution than
the oil pump cover version or clearancing the crossmember and or/fan
shroud.Also it
eliminates the 90's and elbows that can only restrict flow.
