3000 should be fine, but 5000 always sounds like things are stretching to the 
limit on my engines. Balancing things well can make a big difference when the 
RPMs get high, and 3000 RPM sounds a lot higher when you're standing over the 
engine doing a tuneup than it does from the driver's seat going down the road.
