Alrighty, I yanked the motor. First thing I noticed, the FAN was basically unbolted! It had also chewed up some of the gen. belt. I did notice a significant amount of endplay as well on the flywheel and assembley. I guess this what caused it. It makes me beleive that maybe I overtorqued the flywheel bolt down when I last reinstalled it. If this is the case, are the threads on the crank end gone? IS there any remedy? Try a new bolt with some hightemp loctite? Or what? Thanks for ideas.
