Actually I think it's more accurate to say that I have the only known 
drivable _1969_ automatic outside Germany. There are a couple of '68s 
that I have seen pics of, including one in England, probably the one 
you're referring to.

Clive actually has a 69 automatic car at his house, but it's been 
stripped and parted out. It was hopelessly rotten when he got it. It 
was still quite educational to see it when I visited him last month.

That said, it is still true to say that I don't actually know any other 
automatic Type 34 owners.

Of course it's always possible that one will pop up tomorrow and steal 
my thunder :~)
