These numbers are a bit bizarre. Why would they show the Type 34 at a higher
rpm than the Type 3? As far as I know, in the later years there were no
mechanical differences between the Type 3 and 34, so why would their
performance be different? How fast would a notch go at 4560 rpm?

The Type 34 always got the most powerful Type 3 engine option for any given
year, but never had any mechanical options that were not available
throughout the range, AFAIK.

By that time they'd probably forgotten they'd ever produced a Type 34 with
AT.
