I've also got an AT, but I've never been able to make it to 60mph in 2nd. Mine usually shifts to third at about the 45-50 range. Like others have said, she'll hold steady on hills pretty well at the higher speeds; we have one near here that is darn near a 45 incline, and she readily whirrs right up it at 60 or so... as long as I stay on the pedal.
