Hello again all, I've been doing some other work on my '71 square (called Tyria) that is NOT related to my generator troubles. I've run into two different hangups, neither really critical, but both annoying, and I was hoping you all could help me out. First, my gas gauge needle does a funny little dance when the car is running. It'll bounce all over, even on the smoothest of roads. Any thoughts? Second, the AC. Does anyone else out there have one of the old factory underdash AC units? I've been trying to fix mine so I'll have some form of air circulation, but the wires appear to have been cut. Anyone know where these were supposed to go to? It looks like there is a red one, a green one, and a white one running into the console near the temp and air knobs.
