<x-charset utf-8>Well, it was unusual because it wasnt the pushrod tubes. there was a massive leak from the oil cooler and it was draining down the case. I blamed the pushrod tubes because in my recent type 4 rebuild I didnt get them pushed in all the way and the same thing happened. I remember a recent post by Jim A. that you had to be careful which seals to use on the oil cooler, as the standard type 1 gasket set gives you several choices. That sent a pang of anxiety through me at the time. Jim, I could not find that post--I think you said you could guide the uninitiated to the correct choice? Its a 71 FI engine. Thanks!
