[T3] Lots of smoke

Hi everyone,
	My situation:
	I have a '68 fastback that i installed a 71 block and
finally got the ('71) FI to work (with a few wires
that are still cut and unknown...) I started her up
yesterday and to my surprise she blew out a HUGE
cloud of blueish/grey smoke, i thought that maybe it
was oil in the heads so i let it run a little longer,
but she didnt run very well so died. Started it again
and again the huge coud of smoke that didnt seem like
it was dispersing, it just continued to pour out of
the exhaust, a little out of the heater box opening
(without the attachment to the fan shroud) and after i
stopped the engine I looked around for such oil leaks
and i found that there was oil driping from the
passenger side heater box tin that seemed to be coming
from the breather pipe thingy? It also seemed to have
gas mixed in with it??? it sure smelt and felt like
gas/oil combo????

Another thing was as i was running it the oil breather
cap, was blowing off repeatedly every time i ran the
engine, specifically when first started.

As for the engine not running very smoothly i am
guessing that is from something not hooked up? I
noticed that i had to keep pushing the number 1 FI
connector back on.

I would really appreciate any help on this as i REALLY
want to get my fasty running again. To think I ALMOST
converted back to carbs when it wouldnt start!!!!!
Well thanks in andvance.

Heather
