But isn't someone from southern California already selling repro seat rail guides on eBay for like $20/pr? I have not bought any (my broken ones work fine), but I wonder how they fit and hold up. I bought some and was disappointed. The plastic is more brittle than the originals. They don't quite right but can be forced on. And, the ends are squared, making it hard to put the seat back on. I imagine Teflon(R) would be good. You could probably scroung an old cutting board at a thrift store or garage sale.
