RE: [T3] Fuel injection troubles have defeated me so far :UPDATE

It's a '69, so it IS the one below the exhaust port. I went back and
forth for a very long time... Even let the engine cool further (it was
pretty cool when I started working) for about 2 or 3 hours before this
happened. It was not the first time the head of this sensor had been
torqued on. I wouldn't be surprised if it was weak already.

Would I be able to put the sensor in one of the upper locations, like on
the later cars? All of this, and we still don't know if this is what
was giving the car trouble. :) Yeah, fun to be me.

:UPDATE

This is not good... if something binds up try going the other way for a
turn or 2, then back and forth.. it will usually free it up but it
seems too late for this.

If your luckey and have a universal head you may have another sensor
boss below the 3 & 4 exaust outlet. Otherwise drill and tap. Its a
special thread, I think Jim A knows exactly what, so youll probably
have to get a tap.

Bummer! but still not a disasterous problem.
