i'm curious if anyone knows of a good reputable source for rebuilt type III engines? i have a '71 squareback who's engine is kaput. i'd like to get a replacement long block for it to get it up and running as quickly as possible, then save the current engine to strip down and rebuild myself (i don't have a lot of free time right now, so this would take me ages to complete). i'd prefer to find a place that specializes in VW, or better yet, type III engines. and somewhere in the pacific northwest would be a plus but not required.
