I think you're imagining these as much smaller than they are. They're HUGE and very heavy - these are made to be a stable base to lift a Harley up 17" or so. Size-wise, you wouldn't be able to put it in the back of a squareback sideways (just for a relative sizing). I am 6'2" and pretty strong - I have to use two hands deadlifting it straight up by the handle on the end (so, vertical and dangling) and then I quickly waddle with it to where I'm going - it must be 150 lbs or more. Also, it doesn't like to 'stand up' to be put against the wall or whatever - mine happens to live in a little nook in a closet where it can't fall down. I used to live in a place with no such nook, and one time it scared me half to death when it decided to collapse in the middle of the night. ALSO, this one...look at those back caster mountings...kind of a weak design. I wouldn't put my bike up on that. -- jeff vier 1967 Squareback - daily driver - midwest car getting healthier slowly 1969 Bug - street racer from California boinger@qamail.transora.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
