OK, this I don't know but I will look in my book and try to figure out
how to find this.

Hmmm...this I'm not sure about. I seem to remember the mechanic saying
it was OK.

I will check today.

He swears the gas is flowing ok when he measures it. I always tell him
to replace the filter. Last time he sad it was OK.

Oh, the infamous overflow hose. Yes, I'm well acquainted with it. I
had a huge fight with him over that one after he replaced my gas tank
and didn't fix the hose. Ruined the new tank. I had to replace it
again (got it coated this time).

Tell me about it. These guys are supposed to be German car specialists.
They've been there forever and worked on type 3's when they were new. I
think they just don't want to work on my car---they want to work on the
new stuff. Their attitude seems to be, "Run it into the ground and then
get a real car." And I can't find anyone else who will even TRY to work
on it. The local bug guru (Folk Wisdom I think is the name) practically
held up garlic and a cross in my face when I asked him to work on The
Baroness.

Oh please, PLEASE...someone come forward!!! PLEASE recommend someone
who can cure The Baroness.

Thanx for your help,
