[T3] EFI to Carbs
<x-flowed>i just got some old vw magazines and stumbled on this article. its dated may
1974, from dune buggies and hot vw's. it is about changing a type 3 from EFI
to carbs. it is informative, plus the kit comes with 40mm dcnf weber's,
which have been discussed lately.
but the reason i am posting this is because of the terminology they use
early on in regard to the EFI. you might get a kick out of it
the images are about 800k apiece , but i wanted them readable.

the first caption says to just discard the EFI components. what?
"it either work well, or not at all, and then you have the chore of finding
a vw mechanic which is also a computer expert" different time i understand,
but computer expert? it is just a descret electronic system.
after removing most of the comp.. "dump all the plumbing in the nearest
trash and wave goodbye" noooooooooo!!
