How is that possible, and after we were all sure we had figured it out.... Boy am I glad this car isn't fuel injected. ;-) Is there any chance that a valve is sticking? If it is only sticky it might work okay when cranking slowly to do the compression, but then hang up at higher speed when it becomes important. Also, does the end of the spark plug look okay? Try replacing it with anything; they don't have to match. If you use a conductive type of antiseize on the SPs then this can get on the insulator when you install them, and cause the insulator to flash over and miss. Could there be anything in the # 3 exhaust pipe or muffler that would keep it from exhausting?
