Do we have any data to support the conjecture that they flow any more fuel than the type 3 injectors? Do we know the flow rate ratio? What about the pressure sensor? What about the brain? What about the intake air runners and head flow? All these things work together to make a system tuned to work with a certain engine. If you stick with the original type 3 FI parts you know that you have a system which matches and the ONLY question is whether that system has sufficient dynamic range to accomodate more flow. In fact, I think I could prove that with the original system you could adjust it for larger displacement by adjusting only the fuel pressure. Once you start changing other parts you make the picture much more complicated and you have reduced your odds of success to a totally random event. OTOH, if we know the ratio between the flow rates for the various injectors, we should be able to figure out which combination of fuel pressure and injectors would work with any particular displacement.
