[T3] front clip 'side drain section' comparision between 65 and 69

I am looking to replace the drain section attached to
the front clip behind the front wheels.  I have a 69
fastback.  potential donor would be from a 65 notch. I
imagine this notch has the interior gas filler, does
this change the front clip section to much to be donor
on that side?  otherwise would these be compatable?  

around this welded on section, the clip is just one
peice of metal, correct.  any other thought's on this
replacement.

if these 2 are not compatiable, what range would be 68
& 9 only?
