If you are looking for a picture, there is one in the Clymer 1972 edition
manual. The hookup is done with an S curved end on the cable that fits
into a hole in the seat latch lever. The cable housing is secured by a
wingnut to the seat frame (center, rear, under the springs); the
adjustment is made to the cable housing as it is attached to the seat
frame, just as the way a lawn mower throttle cable housing is commonly
mounted to the carburator and adjusted.
