I had a similar problem on a 1302S. What I traced it back to was one of the wires in the turn signal switch was touching the metal turn signal casing. I ended up putting a piece of plastic around the inside of the TS housing as an insulator and that fixed it. The strange thing was, it didn't happen every time I used the indicator, only about 1 out of 5 times.
