<x-charset windows-1255>> PS Why does an early (1963 I think) Type 34 user manual say that you should > adjust the valves to .012" (.30mm)? > 0.008" inlet and 0.012" exhaust were the normal gaps on the early 60s engines (I had a 1961 engine in my '59 Beetle). I think it was to do with the rocker boss and the length of stud used. Dave.
