<x-charset iso-8859-1>Go with the 044s. The 041s were designed to run hot for emmision
purposes. Stick with the 40 * 35 valves and leave the ports stock. The
DCNFs should work OK, its down to venturi size,smaller is better. The
1.25 : 1 should be OK and help the breathing a bit.

Since I will not be able to build the big engine I want till atleast
winter, I want to change to dual ports and dual throat carbs.  The
engine is 1600cc and I believe the cam is stock.  I just don't like
the way it runs, but I am not looking for a street killer right now,
and I don't want to split the case since there is only about 25kmi on
her.  I need a recommendation for heads (Leon: how are those MoFoCo
doing?) 041 vs. 044 vs. ??.  I currently have a 009 with pertronix,
but was thinking of changing to Compu-fire "distributor-less" ignition
so I can hide the spark plug wires.  I will be using dual 40DCNF
(Shad: I gotta try it - I'll get ready to buy you a beer at
Invasion).  I was also thinking about using 1.25:1 rockers.
Can anybody give BTDT or advice or straighten me out?  I need to
complete this "small" task this month, since I don't have any plans
for out of town shows till June.
