Re: [T3] some splicing advise?

<x-flowed>If you don't have soldering experience, the best advise I can give is to not touch that harness yet. Get some wire of the same gage that you will be working with. Pick up a book on soldering tips at Radio Shack or somewhere. Practice tinning, use of flux, and working with shrink tubing. These are techniques you will need to develop on practice wires. If you're not careful, you can anneal the wires and make them too resistive. When you're pretty good, then move on to your harness. And don't use electrical tape! Use a few layers of shrink tubing (use successively larger sizees) to cover your splices. Good luck! Sounds like a worthy endeavor.
