Now that I have decided to rebuild my 71 Fasty engine for my 66 Square, I would like to do a baseline compression test before tearing it down. The engine is out of the car and is basically just a long block. What are the chances of getting a good compression test if I use an impact wrench on the crankshaft gland nut to spin the engine over? Anybody have any other ideas short of putting it back in a car and using teh starter........btw, I do not have this means at this time.
