<x-charset iso-8859-1>The bend is the part of the outlet pipe that fails first. A '71 would have come with the smaller bore, but it might by now have the later muffler and one-piece damper/tail pipe, which are quite a bit more money and sometimes difficult to find. They deserve a new tailpipe section if the rest is good. I wonder how expensive it would be to have them made up in stainless? Dave.
