[T3] Heater channel questions and fiberglass fenders

	Hello everyone!  My heater 'grates' on the drivers side are rusted
out and there are bits of rust layers inside the channel.  My rockers are
very solid though, as is the rest of the channel, it is just right in the
area of the outlet.  The question is what does this mean in the long run?
Will they need replaced?  I have read Keith's rust facts, about blowing oil
etc. to try and prevent future rot, but am just wondering about the long
run.
	Also, has anyone used the fiberglass fenders from VW Innovations.  I
am contemplating using these to replace my rusty fenders.  I have two
fenders, but one needs some work and I am thinking it might be cheaper to
just get one of these.  Plus I have not body working skills or space.
