I'm still getting lousy city mileage here in NYC. 15mpg. Still, when I take the car onto the interstate when I finally get out of traffic (like Pennsylvania) I get 27 mpg. I was averaging 27 mpg driving to Ohio and back (I jot the mileage down each fill-up) and wound up with one tank getting over 30! A complete freak anomaly that probably had some relationship to my driving more on the downward slope of the appalachians. Still cant explain it, and it didnt stay consistent. I'm thinking of getting a stopwatch to get the proportion of average movement-to-idle here in NYC. This lousy city mileage is a drag. -- Mike Wodkowski 72 FI SQBK Brooklyn wodkowski@mac.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
