<x-charset iso-8859-1>I had a set of wheels stove-enamelled, which probably should be even tougher than p-coating. Unfortunately I didn't keep the car long enough to test the durability. One point with p-coating, though, is its chemical resistance. I had my bike frame and swing-arm p-coated, which looks great except for the one place I dripped some carb-cleaner, leaving a nasty mark in the paint. The mark has mostly polished out, but just be warned that solvents will attack the plastic finish. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Adney" <jadney@vwtype3.org> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Monday, January 21, 2002 7:52 PM Subject: Re: [T3] Lets talk about Powdercoating > On 20 Jan 2002, at 11:15, JGGullion@aol.com wrote: > > > Has anyone ever had their wheels powdercoated?
