As the Type 1 Cabriolet is a model 151. A 317, would have been a fastback with sun roof, left hand drive. Odd numbers for LHD, even numbers for RHD. The '71-'72 Type 1 model numbers were 111 for the standard beetle, and 113 for the super beetle. '73 IIRC, they started the 133 numnbers.
