It would take me just day of concentrated time, but that's only because I know I already have all the parts and I know where they go. For a beginner, you should expect a steep learning curve and a number of missteps in acquiring the RIGHT FI parts and figuring out where they go. If the PO has the old parts this makes things easier, but there is little doubt that you will still be missing some of them. If you have to buy all of them, don't bother shopping for new parts; they will cost you more than you spend on the car. But good used parts are available and would be reasonably priced if bought all at the same time from someone knowledgable. Keep in mind that there are lots of people who will tell you that they have the parts, but they will ship you an incomplete assortment of mismatched parts from various years. They may or may not work together, but I strongly suggest that this is not the way for you to start out. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
