Well this sparked my curiosity, can the originals be rebuilt?  I recently
replaced the shocks on my '66, I am 99% sure after looking at all the
service records and the condition of the shocks that they were the OE units.
To say they were blown would be a massive understatement.  What purpose
could they serve in this state?
