RE: [T3] Low Oil Pressure on a GEX rebuild

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Well, you found out the expensive way...GEX sucks. Period. Too bad you
didn't ask us about them before you bought it.

Never buy from them again and make sure you let others know that they
shouldn't even consider them! Their quality, both in engine work and
customer support, is crap.

If a mechanic tells you to remove the thermostat (and/or it's other parts)
just say "thank you" and find a mechanic who knows what they're talking
about because this is NOT the correct answer for any air-cooled engine.
Replace the thermo bellow and monitor the cooling flaps to insure the system
is working properly. I mark the right end of the rod that the flaps are
attached to when the engine is cold. The mark will rotate counter-clockwise
(looking at the butt from the right side) as the engine heats up. Very
simple!

I'll defer the rest to the experts but no matter what the cost don't ever go
GEX again!
