<x-charset iso-8859-1>Greg, Here are some answers to your questions. Is it a 4-into-1 header? Yes. Does it attach to the main heater boxes, or does it replace them? It attaches to the main heater boxes. Does it get in the way of anything? (Some of the nutty "hidden" Beetle mufflers can get in front of the valve covers, for example.) No. I had no problems. It kinda fits in the area above where the four pipes merge into one. It bolts up the same as a single quiet pack only the muffler goes up over the top of the header merge point. I basiclly fits in the area where the original muffler was. Is it designed to be a performance system, or is it more like an easy-to-get stock substitute? Is it noisy? In my opinion it is equivalent in performance and noise level to a header with a single quiet pack muffler. Does the tip look stock-ish, or very different? The tail pipe exits the stock cutout in the apron, but it comes out at an angle instead of straight out and is larger in diameter. Also, with this design you don't have to worry about scraping like with a single (or dual) quiet pack.
