As a lifelong Seattle resident, let me tell you it does rain here, all the time. This morning's beautiful weather is the exception that proves the rule. The subject reminded me of a geography class I once had, where the instructor said, "either we divert the Columbia river to California or they will all move up here - the Army Corps of Engineers already proved the benefits outweighed the costs." But, as usual, I ramble. What I'm trying to say is, it's my guess many of the type 3's made it up this way with Californian transplants.
