I've always said that it was best to rebuild rather than buy new ones, but that it was a difficult job. I can do them for you and my price is absurdly low considering the amount of work that it takes. I make MUCH better money doing master cylinders and wheel cylinders. The only reason I charge so little is that the replacements are so cheap that no one would rebuild if I charged what it was worth, then all the good OE calipers would disappear and never be seen again. The OE calipers were better; they are worth rebuilding, but they take time, patience, skill, and tools to get them apart and back together right. I charge $45 per caliper for the rebuild. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
