<x-charset iso-8859-1>Here's an easy way to remember whether a Sapphire is AM or AM/FM...if the number is odd, it's AM (1-band) if the number is even it's AM/FM (2-band). Like you Travis, I'm a child of the 70's (born in 74) and love the old stuff. I have a tube Blaupunkt which I used to have in my 60 Beetle and will be putting into the T-34 when I get that far in the restoration. Be ready to spend some coin for the correct radio, but I think it's worth it. What year is your T-3? If you're looking for a 66 radio, the most appropriate would be a Sapphire IV with the chrome pushbuttons. There are a few different varieties of the Sapphire II AM/FM and they too will fit in the underdash bracket. Are all Sapphire II Radios 6v? There is a seller on Ebay listing a Sapphire II from a '66 bug but claims it is a 12v?!
