A rod with a "Z" bend in one end, and a 90 in the other. There should be a bracket with a hole in the back of the pedal. The 90 goes through that, with a coil spring clip to hold it. The "Z" goes through the arm on the peddle cluster and into the the eye in the end of the cable.
