I know this is probably not the solution but have you checked that fuel
is getting to the injectors properly. I had what I thought was a FI
problem a while back. Turned out that because the vehicle had been stood
a while before I drove it, all the gunk in the bottom of the fuel tank
had somehow got through the filter and got into the fuel lines
themselves. I went through my whole ignition system changing the spark
plugs, coil, condenser, points etc, before moving onto the FI system and
realising that wasn't at fault either. My point is just check the really
obvious stuff before you start adjusting things...
